How to manage cookies


Cookies can be controlled via your browser settings. The Help function of your browser will tell you how.

Google Chrome (PC)
The following article applies to the Google Chrome browser on Windows, Mac, Linux and Chromebooks. It details how to adjust your cookie permission settings, delete cookies, block or allow cookies by default and how to make exceptions for cookies from specific websites or domab.

Google Chrome (Mac)
Choose 'Chrome' from the main navigation then 'Preferences' then 'Under the Hood'. Click on the 'Content Settings' button and allow local data to be set if you wish to accept cookies.

Firefox (Mac)
Choose 'Firefox' from the main navigation then 'Preferences' and click on the 'Privacy' tab. Choose 'Use Custom Settings for History' option from the drop down in the History section and select your cookie setting preferences.

Internet Explorer (PC)
Click on 'Tools' at the top of your browser window and select 'Internet Options', then click on the 'Privacy' tab. Ensure that your privacy level is set to medium or below which will enable cookies in your browser. Settings above medium will disable cookies.

Safari (PC)
Click on the Cog icon at the top of your browser window and select the 'Preferences' option.
Click on 'Security', check the option that you desire in the 'Accept Cookies' section.

Safari (Mac)
Choose 'Safari' from the main navigation then 'Preferences' and click on the 'Privacy' tab. In the 'Block Cookies' section specify if and when Safari should accept cookies from websites.

SafarI (IOS used by Iphones and iPads)
Tap the settings icon, select Safari from the list that appears, tap 'Accept Cookies' option and select your preference.

Opera (PC)
Choose 'Tools>Preferences>Advanced>Cookies'.
